When I was about... Six? Seven? I was at a museum with my dad, and I started swinging from a handrail. I swung back and hit my head on a metal edge, cut my head open, blood everywhere. My poor dad!

Youch. I think doing stupid things is just par for the course for six/seven year olds. I'm sure your poor dad freaked out, though. I remember once when my mom was on vacation with her mother, and my sister inhaled a green bean and it got stuck way up her nose. We had to take her to the ER, and my dad completely freaked out.

I was always climbing up tall trees and talking to dogs twice my size, according to my mother. That was pretty much the only serious injury of my childhood, though!
