Grabbed a hot cast iron pan to stabilize it even though I knew it was hot. It was one of those things where your brain kind of goes on vacation until you see yourself doing the thing and slow-motion noooo, but it's too late.

Youch. Done that a couple times too. Hate that, when you know you've messed up, but it is an instant too late to stop and you know what is coming.
