i've never seen it! but a lot of comments on fandomsecrets defending it in light of the movie has got me looking forward to it haha

Oh it's quite good! I mean, as a stage play it makes more sense to me. It's just a story about cats and their life expressed through singing and dance. I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish with the new movie, but it basically works better as an expose of dance and song with amazing costume design in a theater.
