Re: Stupidest way you've injured yourself

Once as a kid I was trying to get someone's attention in a subtle way by stomping my foot on the floor so they'd look up but I wouldn't interrupt the people in the next room. I was only wearing socks and I guess I was standing on a rough spot of the hardwood floor because I wound up driving a huge splinter into my foot and my mom had to take me to the hospital to have it removed.

Another time I was getting undressed to put on my pajamas and while taking off my shirt I somehow raked a fingernail across my stomach really hard, causing a really painful scrape/scratch. It didn't bleed, but it did that thing where blood pools under the surface. It stung like the dickens and ended up leaving a scar that lasted for years. I still have no idea how I managed to do that!
