Re: Stupidest way you've injured yourself

Somewhere between the ripe old ages of 14 and 17, my family and friends all developed a love of BB guns. Specifically of shooting each other with them. One friend of mine was having a great time shooting everyone else, but the first time they got hit themselves, they decided they were done because that hurt. Had they left it at that, no one would have argued it, but they proceeded to go on a tangeant about how only babies found it fun, so assholes that the rest of us were, we pointed out they were the biggest baby of all since they quit playing the first time someone managed to shoot them (on the ass, mind you, we had a strict no aiming for the face rule).

Fight ensued about how we were all assholes, one thing lead to another, and to proove they were being a baby over nothing, I shot myself point blank in the hand with my BB gun. As it turns out, little plastic pellets, when moving at their full 300+ feet/second rate when they first get fired, can break skin. I ended up digging the pellet out with a knife, my friend fainted, and we both ended up with stitches.
