There's a reason really good animators adjust the look of characters when they know the voice actor. The voice is a physical thing shaped by your lungs, your rib cage, your nose, your esophagus, your age (voices deepen as we age), the way you stand. So when a real voice is put to a character with completely different physiognomy, it's going into the uncanny valley. You don't know why it doesn't seem right, but it doesn't. Elsa's face and figure should not have that voice coming out of it, it's that simple, as far as I'm concerned. Frozen was made in a rush production and they had no time to imbue Elsa with a more Idina-esque presence.

Really the only time an odd voice/body match works is when it's done deliberately for comedy.

No.

Unless you have and have had an issue with voice acting at all, then what you're saying is complete bullshit. Kristen Bell isn't young, doesn't sound young, and yet everyone loves her in her role, Josh Gad plays a fucking snowman, so by your own default there is no conceivable way to make sidekick characters work.
Idina's voice is perfectly fine for Elsa, and I'm not even a fan of the movies. With the way people talk about it I would expect the voice of some kind of ninety-nine year old with an iron lung who still commits to smoking three packs per day, which obviously, no, that isn't the case.
