Elsa is 21 in the first movie which means her voice would be fully realized at this point of her lifetime. All voice actors are notoriously older than their voiced counterparts, I find it strange that this is only an issue with Elsa, who is older than most Disney princesses at this point and time, and not anyone else.

the issue is not that she'e older, the issue is she sounds older.

Everyone in that movie sounds their age, which is significantly older than the characters those actors are voicing. Idina is not unique in this regard.
