yea i think you're right. sometimes it works, when you see a story transform w the times in a way you could never anticipate on the day the comic began. but sometimes you can tell where there wasn't a plan and stuff drags on or something. i do have some sympathy tho bc creative work can be difficult to create on a schedule and have it turn out consistently inspired.
