i can't think of a single romantic comedy that i watched and remembered after it was over. they just don't really interest me.

otoh, write my otp into romcom fluff and i'm all about it lmao. but i was ofc in love w those characters before anyway, and there is a context already there outside of the goofy romcom hijinks, so i think that's an important missing factor in the film genre.
