A lot of things are happening but it feels like none of them matter. There's a distant feeling that everything is supposed to be a buildup to something, but then each conflict ends in some sort of comedic note so much so that I no longer get the urge to take anything seriously. There's a lot of interesting ideas in there, but that's all we're getting so far, ideas thrown into a blender.

There's always been funny moments, but they're inserted in solemn/monotone moments to offset the seriousness. Nowadays it's solemn moments inserted into a bunch of comedy.
