What are we doing with it?
I finally got to see some friends (outdoors, at a distance) today! :D How's everyone else holding up?

I was less productive today than I was yesterday, but I did find a use for my runny cheesecake, so thank you yesterday’s anons for the suggestions!

So glad to hear that dessert didn't get lost - what ended up saving it?

I ended up putting it in the freezer and eating it with some strawberries and whipped cream, so it was kinda like a cheesecake ice cream parfait.

I wrote a 21 page brief for a case we have to win. This woman went through hell, just about literally. I feel drained just having worked on her case and having to read through her testimony to write the brief. I do this for a living, but this one really got to me. And it is going to be hard to win because of some factors, but we have to win it. We just have to.

And thankfully the migraine I've had held off for me for most of the day so I could write the brief. But now its back. Waiting for dinner, then I'm going to watch something happy (not sure what yet) and crash).

Not great. I'm trying to read fic but can't find anything I like. I feel like some of it is genuinely awful (spelling/grammar mistakes and OOC) but a lot of it I think is probably fine, I'm just not in the right place mentally to enjoy it.

I've just felt really...off the past few days and I'm not sure how to snap out of it.

...and I finally found a super adorable, IC fic and realized I already had some others by the same author bookmarked. Yay!

Not bad.

Took a couple of vacation hours this morning to sleep in. Had a minor coffee maker disaster but it was all salvageable. Got a major work thing done.

Mowed and did some yard work. Forgot to get that plastic bag down from the tree. Might try to do that tomorrow before it rains. Requires dragging out a ladder.

Took a walk. First time this year wearing just a short sleeve T-shirt and no jacket to take a walk.

Baked pound cake. Accidentally set the oven too hot but it's still edible and actually pretty tasty.
