Hmm . . . This article says one of the characters has a confirmed mother and father. Not sure what FiNR was talking about. Maybe one of the others is uncertain? (The only thing I know about Inuyasha is that VG Cats called it Dragonball Z for girls.)

lol that's a new description. I can see why in a way, as the MC is a time travelling HS girl who ends up in the past/is the reincarnation of a priestess who has to collect Sacred Jewel Shards in thr past in order to prevent wide spread evil/the major antagonist.

Anyway, the guy in the secret, Sesshomaru, is a greatly feared and powerful demon (and older half brother to Inuyasha) whom throughout the show and manga derided Inuyasha for being half human, always detested humans, but eventually grows fond (not emotive at all)/allows her to travel with him/serves as her guardian of a little human girl who aided him when he was hurt and ends up resurrecting her (TWICE).

Fandom has always had its ships, but cannonically, he was never shown to have affection (except for MAYBE a wind demon who was in love with him, Kagura, but this small show of emotion only happens after Rin is in his life) or any romantic/sexual inclinations. If anything, one would have thought he would have mated wirh another demon to keep his bloodline strong pure legacy etc. Bur that is also a fandom guess.
