Yesterday my husband went to the grocery store and bought me a frozen coconut cake (a favorite of mine), so today for lunch I made us a chicken pizza and we had cake for dessert. It was good. Just chilling now, watching some MST3K on DVR. Mellow day. I'm kinda sleepy tho.

Been looking into free courses online and thinking of either learning how to code or choose the one on how to write a novel.

Taking it easy. Didn't sleep much last night. We have workmen doing stuff around our house and being loud, so I'm in my room playing music with my kitty for company because they are going in and out of the front door, and she loves to try to run out of doors. We are having some nice bonding time. As soon as the workmen leave I'm going back to sleep. I believe we are ordering pizza hut for dinner.

Oh, and also my Flight Rising obsession has been renewed. I've spent quite a bit of time gening/naming/accenting/dressing some cute new dragons.

I practiced guitar today. I think I'm finally getting the hang of playing the C chord. I gotta do homework too, but I'm trying to finish this anime first.

Watched a movie and bits of cartoons; coloured porny fanart and kept pretending that yes I will write this fic? Went out and bought myself gourmet croque-monsieurs from this little restaurant I'd missed so much during lockdown. Currently wrestling with Chatzy; the site won't display properly the chatroom I want to enter.

I'm feeling all accomplished. Yesterday and today, by turns, i soaked the two main, stainless waterbowls I have for the cats in vinegar (we have very hard, limey water). Then a little scrubby action, and they look brand new! One more dish to go.

I have MAD SOAKING SKILLZZZZZ!

It's been storming most of the day (the sun's just now starting to come out) so I've just been laying in bed reading (going back and forth between novels, short stories, and non-fiction articles), and it's been nice! I need to do some organizing/straightening up at some point but for now I'm just going to hang out and relax.
