I've heard pride of baghdad was amazing, my friend has a copy that i must borrow sometime. Also, frank miller's batman work, if you like nice, dark storylines. Sin City, V for Vendetta, and of course Hellboy~ :D Sandman is great too, if you like Gaiman

It's about a Pride of lions in modern day baghdad, actually, during the war if i remember correctly. I remember thinking it was going to be terribly furry but finding out it was like a more depressing Lion King. XD

Oh! Haha, wow, I never would have guessed it was about lions! xD I thought pride, as in, you know, nationalism or what-have-you... not lions, haha. But now I'm really interested in this!

...Lion King is one of my favorite movies~.

Ahhh Pocahontas, mainly because it really obliterates the actual story behind Pocahontas, which was a really sad one, and kind of spat in history's face. >_> They should have left that one alone.

At least meeko was cute.

Hahaha, oh, Pocahontas! Disney's version is just "look at how much better off those crazy 'Native Americans' are with the English teaching them what to do! Oh, and they taught us about corn."

My favorite is probably Mulan, by far.

Pride of Baghdad is an utterly AMAZING graphic novel following a family of lions shortly after escaping the bombing of their zoo. The family proceeds to enter the destroyed town of Baghdad and are faced with many dangers and challenges.

Also it has exploding giraffe heads.

Wow, that sounds pretty cool... I'll definitely look into it! And exploding giraffe heads are such a huge plus I don't even know where to begin. :)
