I honestly pity people who care so much about canon that they're happy for bad writing just to "win" a shipwar. Like, what the fuck. No one is going to watch ultron a third time and Nat/Clint and Bucky/Nat are going to stay right on being juggernauts with a hundred times more fanworks and energy and enjoyment poured into them.

I don't really ship any of these (and I was interested in Nat/Bruce before ultron) but...like, what are you even doing in fandom. Canon is nothing but compost for our garden. Smell the roses already.

Yup. I used to be in the Nat/Clint fan and now am in the Nat/solo camp. But I'd even take Nat/Steve or Nat/Tony before the dumpster dive they gave us. Some people came out of the movie shipping, sure, but it did not in any way become a major ship in the fandom.
