Ok, ouch. I'm glad you found some joy. Personally I desperately wish they'd never even tried to pair her with anyone.

And es, I ship Winter Widow in the comics but goddamn the MCU doesn't really work with it. (I need her to be a grown woman in the 50's for it to work, this born in the 80's thing is no good.) And I don't hate Clint, but there has been SO MUCH FIC (that I didn't like) that I wouldn't be able to accept them either. Just. No on screen romance for her.

But honestly? Bruce/Nat isn't *that* much worse than every other cannon MCU relationship. They're just not good at romance in these movies.
