I always figured size kink was for one character who was noticeably smaller compared to the other or something.

No. Generally size kink implies one character is hung and the other is really into it. Or they could both be hung and both be really into it, I suppose. Or one character might be hung and at first the other is scared to have sex because of it...but then they end up being really into it. Or one character is hung and EVERYBODY is really into it. You get the gist.

Size kink might extend to the characters' physical body sizes as well. But if something was tagged size kink and then nobody was hung, I think most people would consider that a misuse of the tag.

I suppose you could also use size kink for a fic where one character's dick was small and the other was really into it. But I think in that case it would be advisable to use an additional tag to clarify that the size kink in the fic was going in the opposite direction with things.

Nayrt - you're thinking of "size difference". "Size kink" is "your dick is so big it makes me so horny". "Size difference" is "you are so tall and buff and I am so small (or vice versa) it makes me so horny".

Yeah, it usually makes me roll my eyes, to be honest. Like "this character can't possibly be sexy unless they have a humongous dick with which they can fuck someone into the mattress seven times in a row with no refractory period." I think the only times I've ever mentioned the size of a penis in fic has been specifically to subvert or mock this kind of attention to detail.
