Have been glued to the news most of the day. It's so damn depressing but I wanted to know what was going on.

I took a break for a bit and right now I'm waiting for my cookies to finish baking, then going back to the news, probably. I wanted to make real food but couldn't find one of my measuring cups so took that as a sign from the universe to have cookies for dinner.

I want to do some (non-news related) reading later since I haven't read anything fictional in awhile, and I need to find the missing measuring cup so I can make the casserole I wanted to make for dinner tonight tomorrow for lunch.
