As for the pancake batter...xD
It was back in fifth grade. Boys and girls were separated so that we could be talked to about puberty. Basically all that happened was that the teacher popped in this video that was about this group of friends who were having a sleepover. At night one of the girls got her period and in the morning the mom was making breakfast.
When the girl told her about getting her period is was explanation time! So the mom used pancake batter and drew the ovaries, uterus and other genitalia on the pan and gave the whole spiel eggs, insemination, and how periods happen when there is no sperm.
There she proceed to feed the children pancake ovaries which they delightedly gobbled.
