108. I know not who this man is, but this secret has made me want to know: who is he, and why should HE specifically beat up Rob Liefield?

113... Well it DID end with all three of them holding hands and doing synchronized skating, so hey: door's open for interpretation if nothing else!

115. Good goddesses don't feel wrong about that you are so very right. Now I want to see art of Midna beating up Bella and Edward with those freaky hair-laser-tentacles. It would be so awesome.

124. But how? Was it because you realized that if you could cosplay him, you were literally as skinny as a walking corpse?

129. I do concur.

131. Agreed. Soul was in need of some character expanding, and the author delivered. Also: man he sure draws freaky damn puppets.

136. And by hot, do you mean that they suddenly put on giant rubber monster costumes and started fighting? Because those costumes would get pretty hot, I wager.

153. Huh. What is the canon and which one is the girl?

154. ... The Phantom of the Opera, or some other Phantom?

not 154 OP

yep, that would be the Takarazuka Kagekidan's version of the Phantom of the Opera.

Aaah, those all-female theater performers, right? A Phantom without the mask and in modern clothes... what's the story there?

That picture is not from the 'Phantom' show, it's the Yeston/Kopit version, and like that, placed in 19th century with costumes and everything. :)

The Takarazuka Phantom is based on Yeston and Kopit's version (the same one the Charles Dance miniseries was based on), and is a historical piece. It's quite lovely; there's a BUNCH of videos up on YouTube if you want to check it out.

The Phantom does have a mask, but he (/she lol) doesn't wear it every moment. The disfigurement is very stylized, though.

The only non-disfigured, maskless Phantom I'm aware of is the Dario Argento version. You know. The one with the rats.

If you don't know it... well, you might want to keep it that way. XD I understand it's very much in line with his other movies. It's... um... You might want to have a stiff drink to hand. Or brain bleach. XD

153. Vampirates. And the blond is the girl.

Hogarth was a fantastic artist who really brought in the concept of the graphic novel way back when. His books on anatomy (with are not done in comic style, but for all artists who wish to learn it) are still considered absolute staples in figure drawing.

Liefield can't draw worth a damn and yet still rolls in cash, basically as a result of the foundation Hogarth laid down for the medium.
