Just my two cents on this, but I think when a ton of people try to make grand strokes of "IT'S SO DISRESPECTFUL AND HORRIBLE TO THE ARTIST!!!" or "IT'S SO HORRIBLE TO THE ICONIST!!!" having someone who actually is an artist or iconist saying "yeah, not for all of us, don't speak on all our behalfs, and I personally think the attitude is ridiculous" is a pretty good thing to get out there.

Also, someone who actually is in a group has, as a rule, a bit more room to talk about it than someone who has no connection to it. Saying "I DON'T DRAW BUT IT'S SO STUPID FOR PEOPLE WHO DO TO WANT CREDIT!" sounds less informed than someone saying "I do draw, and coming from someone who actually does what you're saying is getting disrespected here, artists being so uptight over this is ridiculous."
