Yeah. It seems like an abundant amount of hostility.

I'm with you, OP. I need comments to get inspired as well. Not just for my ego, but because there's this...I don't know what you call it, a fandom zeitgeist? That I'm writing to. And I need to know that they're with me...anything at all to say they're hearing me. But I love it best when they quote bits back or say "yay! Character B would totally...that's my headcanon" or whatever.

Kudos aren't like that. They're neutral. Could be yes, could be thanks for writing, could be pity. Who knows?
