"I appreciate feedback and value it over Ao3's equivalent of a like button" isn't entitlement. It isn't even judgement on people who don't comment. It's just expressing their personal feelings on it. And it's really bizarre to me that so many people have intense push back to anyone who dares say they like getting comments or that comments are a (big) factor in their motivation.
