I think it's so strange that I hated Twilight the whole time but I read the books so I would at least be informed about what I was hating, and I... kinda really liked Breaking Dawn. But all the Twilight fans hated it. Weird to me

Just curious, but why did you like it? I know some Twilight fans that did like Breaking Dawn, but I really didn't enjoy it. The movie version was pretty good though.

I tried to read the books because I wanted to understand the love/hate, but I got two pages in and couldn't keep reading because of the writing style. I remember thinking the sentences were too long and winded for what is supposed to be an introductory section, but I might be wrong since this was years ago.

Surprised you finished reading all of them if you didn't enjoy the series, but I've also read other books that were boring but available so who am I to judge.

My friend was super into it at the time and made me watch the movie and read the first book. I got to the phrase "she unloosened her arms from around his neck" and noped out because I couldn't take any more.
