I agree with you. I should have worded my comment more carefully, but I was pissed. :P

It's fine to want to make your lover happy (man, women, whoever). Feminism is not about never being nice to men, which is why it pisses me off so much when people like shire_wench paint it that way, because it's basically the newest method of trying to shut feminists up.

Oh, yeah, I definitely get that. Feminism, to me, is just about, you know, having the CHOICE to do whatever it is you want to do. Without anyone telling you that you can't. Or that it's wrong. I think it's totally possible to be a housewife and a feminist, as an example. As long is that is the life that the woman has chosen for herself, then hey, who's to tell her it's wrong?

And I hate the idea that you're not a "true" feminist if you OMG ACTUALLY LIKE MEN. That's ridiculous. Men are very nice to have around ... most of the time. ;p

Basically, I'm just tired of seeing people say "THIS IS HOW WOMEN ARE SUPPOSED TO BE." Because "supposed to be" or not, not every woman is the same. I just want to see some more HUMAN female characters. Flaws, foibles, and all.
