146. This this this this this. It's actually not hard to see when a secret-maker really didn't mean it that way, but it's still... couldn't you go without making other things sound lesser than your interest for no reason?
149. So... it gives you satisfaction that something made people unhappy, because it gets you cause to feel self-smug and justified and "right"? Stay classy, hon.
(Also, just for the record... so many fans seem to have loved the movie, and at least a few non-fans thought it was decent, that your ability to say "OMG LOOK IT SUCKS PROOF THAT WE WERE RIGHT!" is kind of taken away because... a lot of the fans still don't agree with you.)
150. Uh, I do read, have never felt any desire to make a book secret. Mostly because I can't think of any secrets about the books I love.
152. And of course, your opinion is God. It's baffling that anyone else can think otherwise! And the solution to finding a series boring is to hate it and everything associated with it, rather than forgetting about it and moving on.
For the record: I stopped reading partially into it, but am meaning to pick it back up because, while Light is an asshole and L has problems, I found their conversations and cat-and-mouse games incredibly engaging and intelligent. Being spoiled for it takes a bit of that away, but it was incredible to try to imagine where it was going, and if L would figure it out, or if Light would outmaneuver him. So you can keep your other series, I guess, whatever they are, but I'm going to continue thinking that Death Note is not crap and loving the psychological aspects of it. (:

161. No, I'm pretty sure this would offend anyone with a brain. "YAY THIS OTHER SERIES IS GETTING CANCELLED, IT STOLE OUR BEST WRITERS, IT'S HORRIBLE THAT THEY LIKED SOMETHING OTHER THAN HEROES, MAYBE NOW THEY'LL COME BACK AND WRITE FICS ABOUT GAY AND ALL THE CHARACTERS I DON'T LIKE GETTING KILLED OFF!" ... Right. I hope they either go back to your fandom and don't write anything you like, or that they move on to something else that they come to like -- you know, their choice and all, given that you have no right to demand that they stay in one particular fandom.

not!secret #1: Uh...huh. Interesting, but I don't really get the point of this. Is everybody supposed to stop saying "fap" now because it also happens to be an acronym that stands for something? I'm pretty sure that it won't be a big, huge deal, even amongst fandom.
too!big #1: I love the possibility in AUs, and I need to stop being lazy and write a few. They are "real stories" just like anything else, so just loosen up if you can, and enjoy them!
too!big #2: You wish for the quality of two stranger's lives to go down just because you're sad that they're not friends anymore? Wow, that's jerky of you.

And yeah, it's baffling to me that anyone else can like it, because I do not personally see the appeal. But just because it's confusing to me doesn't mean I don't accept it. I do. I just don't share the opinion, and I'm very blunt about my own opinions.
Yes, I hate Death Note, and I hate it actively. Because EVERYONE in my social circle thinks that series is fucking ace, and I'm basically tired of hearing about it. Once they shut up about the genius that is Death Note, I'll forget about it.
Until then, I'm going to actively hate that series.
