I enjoy KH fans but I srsly side eye anyone who tries to tell me the series is unironically good/well written. Also, Kairi/Xion fans have hugeeee persecution complexes and can’t stand the idea of someone not liking their literal plot device female lamp character.

Literally every girl in this series is done so wrong, and I hate it. They're all useless props to be pretty additions to the guys' storylines; they have no agency, they have none of their own motivations. Nothing. And I refuse to stan that and yell at people for not loving them, because that just keeps telling the writers of these things that they don't have to lift a finger to write women, idiot fans are still going to lap them up and viciously defend them. It's beyond frustrating.

I am reminded of how pleased I was to hear Kairi was finally going to have a keyblade/do some fighting in KH3....and then it just....was kind of worthless?
