I am completely on your side re:NHS wasn't wrong about what he did. While I don't agree that LXC had any active part in JGY's crimes and imo didn't necessarily do what he did out of faux morality, I do believe he was definitely wilfully ignorant of the situation. He certainly carries some responsibility for NMJ's death because he was just so damn oblivious about JGY's schemes and could possibly have prevented it if he had paid some closer attention to NMJ. At the very least, I think that's how NHS would see it so he would be entirely justified in his actions.

(I will admit that I love this guilt-ridden dynamic enough to ship them in a slow burn angsty way post plot though.)
