Re: What are your favorite classics?
(Anonymous) 2020-06-06 01:15 am (UTC)(link)Movies: Metropolis, The Prisoner of Zenda, The Thin Man, Arsenic & Old Lace, Casablanca, The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, The Brides of Dracula, The Princess Bride, Escape to Witch Mountain
TV Shows: The Incredible Hulk (1970s), The Fugitive (1960s), Mission Impossible (1960s), The Champions (1960s), Wild Wild West (1960s), Ocean Girl (1990s), Tales of the Golden Monkey (1980s)
Books: Jules Verne (20000 Leagues, Journey to the Centre of the Earth), Alexander Dumas (Monte Christo and the Valois trilogy), Arthur Conan Doyle (mostly Holmes), Bram Stoker (Dracula), George MacDonald Fraser (The Pyrates, also Flashman to a degree)
Basically, I like swashbucklers, fantasy, sci-fi and cheese. Also more mellow episodic shows
