My hospital has been advocating to the province that ALL employees deserve the pandemic pay and they just got back to us this week that the government is refusing to budge, so officially, lad, medical imaging, pharmacy (me), and allied health workers don't get this pay.

Because the people who are taking your blood, your x-rays, mris, struggling to obtain your life saving drugs (practically all the paralytics and anesthetics are on allocation or back order right now due to all the vented patients using them), etc, are not worthy of that extra pay.

I'm so angry, and it's not even really about the money. It's more that it's like you're saying our jobs are unimportant, and that irks me.
