Castiel/Anna is my greatest fear for this show. (Actually, my greatest fear is that SAG will strike and this amazing season will be cut short, noooo. But Castiel/Anna is second!)

In that last scene, someone opposed to the whole Dean/Castiel thing might say that Castiel was looking at Anna with that expression; but frankly, I think WE ALL saw who Castiel was really staring at; Dean's lips \o/

lawlz, I heard that too; and to be honest, I had interpreted that way in my paranoid little mind as well. Really, though, I don't think the look was about Dean or Anna, but rather about Castiel's desire to experience that kind of intimacy. It wasn't about the individuals involved, but what they represented. This is the logic I use to assure myself that Castiel/Anna will not happen. (Or that's what I try to use, anyway. Then I remember the "we have a history" line and freak out for a little while.)

That all said, I still use the look to justify Dean/Castiel; my brain is biased and addled by slash.
