If it's any consolation, I don't think the fandom was ever that big and what was there kind of sucked.

I'm glad you like the series though. It needs more love. I'd be your friend in the fandom, but I don't like being in fandom unanon these days for personal reasons.

Unfortunately Netflix jail probably killed a lot of fandom discussion for this one, as it does for a lot of anime. Half the audience watches it fansubbed as it airs and discusses it, then by the time Netflix releases it most people already know what it's about and those who don't binge it, find all the discussions ended months ago, and move on.

Oh OP, I finished it last month while in confinement and I loved it so much! It made those days so much better, it's a shame it didn't do great. Seeing your secret made me feel a bit less alone.
