And I think anyone who hates them (not dislikes, but seriously, actively hates) is obnoxious and judgmental.

I honestly can't stand either one.

Amy repeatedly slaps Rory and the Doctor, but "Tee-hee, it's okay because she's Scottish!" She also tried to cheat on Rory at least twice WITH the Doctor, and generally treats him like dirt. I wound up giving up on the episodes with them in it because I grew tired of the show gradually becoming "Amy and her Poncho Boys".

River, meanwhile, just comes across as a Mary Sue.
