It's early afternoon here.

Nothing is up lately. Nothing. Endless amounts of nothing.

It’s 9:30 PM and my online class just ended. I’m just double checking that I submitted everything I was supposed to.

It is pissing with rain here, and cold too, so I've spent most of the day rugged up in front of the heater.
Sadly, one of the heaters in the house has been having problems :c
But I have a lot of jumpers! So I'll live :)

I’m alone with my thoughts as I drift to sleep. I’m so glad it’s almost the weekend.

I just went to reserve a book on Overdrive and it wouldn't let me because it said the library put a block on me, and it's freaking me out. I logged into the library website itself to see if I could get any more information, but it doesn't give a reason. It does confirm that I don't have any late fees, although I already knew that since I haven't checked out a physical book in years (and there aren't fees for ebooks, they just expire when your time runs out, nothing happens).

In the past the library's always had a policy that your card "expired" once a year, and you had to go into a branch in person to give them your current information so they could renew it, and according to the site, mine expired last October (I haven't tried to check out an Overdrive book in at least a year since I've been trying to catch up on books I already had but never got around to reading). I'm hoping that it's just that my card's expired, but it's kind of making me panic and worry that I did something wrong, even though I can't think of what it could be.

Otherwise, things are ok. I probably should head to bed soon because I have a bunch of stuff to do tomorrow but I don't want to lol.

Is your local library open for curbside pickup or reference calls or anything? If you can call and ask they can probably find the reason.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're taking calls. I might try to call them tomorrow but the estimated wait time for the book I wanted was a month so I might just buy it and not bother.

Where I live, the library has a book collection system, where you can request a book and then stop by at a certain time and pick it up without having to actually interact directly with another human - but for some reason not all books are available? *Sigh*

You posted that at my 5AM! It wasn't late where I was, it was early!
