(Anonymous) 2020-06-12 04:39 am (UTC)(link)A similar solution would be to pick a "claim word" to help claimers remember which secrets they claimed.
So one person could post "cookie claim" on the secrets they want to make. They could even just put it in the header to others can see it at a glance. Another person could post "goldfish claim" on the secrets they want to make.
Claimers wouldn't need to use the same word all the time. They could switch it up to maintain their anonymity if they wanted. But having a "claim word" seems like it might help keep things sorted a bit. Plus, then if two people claimed a secret at the same time, the claimers could see whose claim got posted first to determine who's going to make the secret.
I don't want to add more work for the secret-makers, who are doing us all a favor. I just want to make things easier for our extremely devoted mod who has stayed with us all these years.
