Yeah, I did briefly think "oh, he's just trying to be careful and not say anything that might offend someone" but he's gotten in trouble before and since for things that he's said so I don't know why he'd be careful that one time. That would make the not wanting to say he's straight because he doesn't want to imply that being gay is bad comment make sense on some level, though.

It's the not wanting to say he's gay because of not wanting to be judged for it part that I find weird. Like, why don't you just not say you're gay because...you're not gay (if you aren't)? He's been open about his family being Christian and that he identifies as Christian himself (although he's fairly liberal)...IDK, I do sometimes wonder if he's bi or even just gay and afraid to come out. And I actually just realized something that makes me wonder that even more but I know I'm already coming across as creepy and weird so I'm going to stop now.

I don't know, it's all just weird to me. Ultimately it doesn't really matter or affect me at all, it's just something I wonder about.
