People don't just not like it. The criticize it for being bad and for perpetuating false ideas about rape recovery. That's what's hypocritical.

You don't get to be totally fine with one extremely unrealistic thing that would be awful in real life, and then be all "this is insensitive and potentially harmful!" about about another unrealistic thing.

Also it's not like there's not a whole fucking lot of criticism of rape=love and related tropes.
