Hmm. But what exactly were you getting out of that friendship? It kinda sounds like you're better off without them, imo.

Looking back on it? Not much. She didn't even come to visit me when I'd just got out of intensive care after a car crash a few years back, even though she went to a party half an hour away at the same time.
