Re: Whatcha listening to, FS?
I loved the project they did with Sparks a few years ago and they're still super fun live. I prefer it now they're not as well known so play smaller venues. Stadiums suck for most bands.
It's a bit of a shame that Alex can be a bit of a dick on Twitter though. Breaking my inner 19-year-old's heart haha.

(Anonymous) 2020-06-14 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)I'll bet they're amazing live - I'm so jealous you've seen them! Maybe I'll get chance one day. :D
I only knew a few of their more famous older classics (Michael, Dark of the Matinee, etc), but then youtube threw me into a FF loop the other day and I am loving it. Especially Right Action and Ulysses and the Fallen.
I didn't seen the Sparks project, what was it called??
Re: Whatcha listening to, FS?
I'm actually embarrassed by how many times I saw them, something like 20. They're beaten by Muse (about 25 times) but I would go see FF another dozen times before I ever saw Muse again. I've gone right off Muse.
I do hope you get to see them some day! I think that they do like touring even though it exhausted them a few years ago. They seem to go at a much slower pace these days but their gigs still have great energy.
The project with Sparks was called FFS and they released one self-titled album. If you're familiar with both bands you'll probably like it but it's weird for people who liked one or the other. When they toured they played a few songs by both bands. It was so odd seeing Alex singing along to stuff like Number One Song in Heaven.
