Suggestion: get a beta reader or a writing buddy where you read each other's work and provide feedback (both constructive and purely positive). Having someone to bounce ideas off of and generally interact with about your work, BEFORE you post it, might really help both your motivation and your ability to write independently - 'cause it's a bit of both.

I used to have a huge problem with motivation too, but I overcame it many years ago and I enjoy the experience of writing more. I still love feedback, but being able to write without it is not just a valuable skill in getting things done, but also in the satisfaction you derive from your own work. Completing things is really difficult, but very rewarding. :)

This is a great answer, OP! It's okay to want feedback and to hear someone say "I read this." So don't feel bad about it. Getting a writing partner or beta reader is a great solution without having to put out your work before you feel ready.
