I get that! I don't mind horses (though I never went through any kind of phase with them, the way other girls did), but yeah, I can also easily see where they'd be rather intimidating for some people. I'd probably be a bit nervous around one, too, 'cause they can spook so easy and whatnot.

In my case, I never dreamed of owning a horse simply because we never lived anywhere where we could have one and didn't have the money for that kind of thing anyway. That's probably also why I never developed a horse obsession in general. Maybe if our family had had the money and means to own a horse, my attitude about all of that might've been different.
