Perfect! But I imagine it's a bit difficult. See...I'm pretty sure you'll find another adult in the fandom. There always is -- and I say this as someone who has to wade through a bunch of teenaged wattpad fic to get to something good.

I'm in my 30s and I understand. Not so much the drama, but that I obviously can't relate to the younger crowd and man, I really want to find more people in my age range to hang out with and geek out over the fandoms I'm in. Frustratingly more difficult than I wish it was.

Fortunately the adults I DO find have been very great and awesome friends. Hoping the best on your journey, anon.

Same here.

There are exactly two Discord groups with mostly groups in my age demographic (early 30s) and they're the only places I'm active in. Otherwise I'm mostly a lurker, here for art and fic.

I totally understand.

I mostly lurk these days, except for two Discord servers, where the age demographic is the same (or close) to my age (early 30s).

I can kind of deal with older teenagers in an open discussion, but cringe every time a 13 year old follows me on Instagram (It's an account about books and cats, so nothing inappropriate, but it still feels weird and I don't follow back).
