I find the song Want U Back by Cher Lloyd incredibly catchy and fun to listen to. I also find all the OTT facial expressions Lloyd makes in the music video (US version) charming and hilarious. Ditto her pouty, drawling, little-girl voice on some of the lyrics. (“Remembur all the tings that you and oi did fuuirst?”)

S!B - The whole song is just incredibly shallow, catty, bratty, and judgmental. It’s like a caricature of all the worst “girly” stereotypes or something. (In defense of Lloyd, she didn’t write it.)

I guess I just have a thing for bratty earworms?

lol I love that song, it's so dumb but she performs the hell out of it, it's so OTT and good

I will say I never liked how much more sexual the US version video was. that always kinda bummed me out. still love her vibe tho

I can see this, it is annoying how common that is.

I think for me the tacky, OTT nature of the US video fits the attitude of the song better. The UK video feels a bit more sincere. But ymmv, definitely.

I know Cher Lloyd and Cheryl (Cole) are two completely different people, but I always confuse their names, and I'm always confused -- wait -- is that the one whose one song I like? I don't know. It's not Cher Lloyd. It's the other Cher. Not Cher Cher tho.

But enjoy your shallow songs! I'm pretty sure I have a few myself too lol.

YES. I love this song specifically because of how OTT and shallow it is. And the video is amazing.
