i've always figured that fan-enthusiasm can maybe influence a decision from interested parties, but ultimately it'll be down to everything behind the scenes that we don't see and if no network is biting or the production studio doesn't want to save it, it doesn't matter how much fans tweet: it'll stay gone for good and there's nothing we can actually do about that.

NAYRT - Yeah, like if the decision is right on the wire as it is, I think a huge outpouring of fan enthusiasm might tip the verdict in favor of renewal, especially if the fan campaign makes website headlines, because then the show has gotten a bunch of free publicity out of it already.

But if the numbers just aren't where they need to be, or if someone with major influence has an axe to grind with the production, no amount of fan campaigning is going to change the verdict.
