As a Youtuber increases in popularity, their videos often increase in length - in my opinion, inversely proportional to their actual quality. So every time a channel I like starts posting longer and longer videos, I start glancing towards the "Unsubscribe" button.

I believe that the YT algorithm strongly values time spent watching and really rewards people posting longer vids, so, yeah.

I don't mind as long as it's an account that I genuinely like (but there aren't many of those on YT).

I had to unsubscribe to some YouTubers because I followed them for one specific thing and, when they hit it big, they suddenly started posting a bunch of unrelated videos that I didn’t care for.
