129. Why? I think Kyouya x Haruhi is one of the most unbelievable and the only reason they might be remotely right for eachother is simply because Kyouya is more mature than the rest of the group. In five years that probably won't make a difference.

143. The thing you need to understand is that nobody actually cares whether or not House and Wilson like women. They like House and Wilson (get over it).

And I think that it is most believable because that maturity actually seems to make him the only person sans Mori and possibly Kaoru who actually comprehends her feelings. Opinion's a funny thing, huh?

You sure do take your Ouran ships seriously, huh? Getting your nose bent out of shape over an opinion.

Maturity isn't the only prerequisite to a compatible relationship. Kyouya and Haruhi are both mature, industrious and somewhat reserved, but that doesn't mean he understands her feelings or that the ability to understand her feelings forms the perfect premise for a relationship anyway.

Haruhi isn't really right for any of the host club boys, to be honest.

I meant that to be tongue-in-cheek, but I can see how it came across as passive-agressive. Sarcasm fail on the intarwebs and all, sorry.

Truth to be told, I'm not even in the fandom much, but the extent of Tamaki's delusions of Haruhi kind of left that pairing dead with me, and I always thought that Kyouya's self-elected isolation would be much more fun to play with. The only two characters who actually get past that are Haruhi and Tamaki.

I'm not really in the fandom either. Truth be told, arguing over ships seems kind of pointless since you're just supposed to stick her with your favourite anyway!

Honestly I feel like Tamaki is too immature and flighty for Haruhi as an intellectual, quiet type of girl. I get that he cares deeply for her. I'd have to be blind not to see that.

There is something about the fact that Kyouya actually pays attention to her and tends to know what she's thinking better than anyone. He "teaches her a lesson" in a more effective way than the other ones did.

I also like that Haruhi is the only one who seems to really see HIM. (well Tamaki does too, but in a much shallower way). My favorite episodes of Ouran were the beach episode where he throws her down on the bed to prove a point and she thinks that he did it for Tamaki, when really he was doing it because he cares about her. The other would be when they spend the day together at the grocery.

Anyhow, I'm speaking far too much about this ship, but I really have always felt that way.

Maybe, but I still don't think it was a very good way to teach her a lesson and demonstrates his own shortcomings - Kyouya has a lot of trouble just using his words. His method of communicating with her was to intimidate her - either she wouldn't see through it and leave him alone, or she would and... actually, it looked to me as if he hadn't planned that far.

I think Haruhi is the only one to see almost all the boys in the Host Club (sans Honey and Mori, who have eachother). I love their interactions and all, but I still think that his only edge is that he's more mature than the other hosts, even though he still has a long way to go.

Well, regardless of his actions in that episode, I just think they're personalities fit together more.

Like you said, he's mature. And despite her being naive, she's far more mature than any teenager should be as she basically played the role of mother and daughter. I just always love their interactions. Standing back and watching all the other host members act like fools while they discuss and comment. I feel like if they were real people, they'd be the most suited for each other.

I have a feeling she'll end the series with Haruhi ending up with no one though.

A counseller would be best, but anybody who cares about you is a good start if you don't want to jump right into therapy too.
