Not OP, but yes I've noticed the weird tagging issues lately too! So glad I'm not the only one who's bothered by it. I feel like maybe with COVID more/different people have time for fic who usually wouldn't. It would explain some other things too tbh.

But as snobby as it sounds I wish I could make fandom take a tagging tutorial before posting anything.
