I'd never heard of this series before so I googled and I think I might be interested in reading it, too, and I'm over 50. I don't see anything wrong with adults reading YA literature; with the current stay-at-home situation I was going to reread some of the books I loved as a girl/teenager this summer, like Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary stuff.

I haven't reread and of Judy Blume's books since I was thirteen, but I recently reread some of the Ramona books and I loved them so much. They just have a timeless quality to them that I really enjoy.

Oh yes, the Ramona books are fun too.

They're wildly popular!

Just avoid them if you're a stickler for good planning.

These books are sort of famous for accidentally having the wrong cats in places and screwing things up that way. It's either due to poor planning or having two or three writers working under one name.

I could never read them for that reason, plot holes and errors of that nature irritate me, but if you're cool with it, there's nothing wrong with reading stuff like this.

I'm more of a Ga'Hoole 30 year old, myself =)
