Genuinely curious, what has you excited about the next game? Aside from Persona 2, the series does a terrible job at queer rep. Even the most recent game stuck to stereotypes and jokes.

As much as I don't disagree, I think I hate it less than the average person because of my headcanon. I tend to see the games as... somehow fitting of the mood/personality of the main character, so I entertain the idea that, for instance, Persona 4 is told from the point of view of a closeted/confused young queer Japanese boy (with queer friends and an ambiguous SL with his homophobic male friend) which makes me want to "forgive" it more. Which is also why I entertain the idea that they could eventually do it very right. But that, especially considering the worldwide popularity of the series nowadays... is probably just loads of wishful thinking, thus the secrecy. Lol.
