Wow, she just can't win, huh.

Fwiw, Miss Americana makes a pretty decent case for her not speaking up sooner because she's was in a depressive state during a lot of the last few years' political shenanigans. I mean, getting up and getting dressed kind of takes precedence over voicing your political opinion out to an enormous audience and having to defend it.

Plus once she did speak out her parents at least were genuinely terrified she'd be assassinated during one of her shows.
